Protest in Hong Kong: The Work of National Endowment For Democracy?

With protests around the world we always have to consider: a) where the country is in relationship to US imperialism; b) which social class is protesting; and c) which NGOs are part of the process. The protests in Hong Kong are complex, and we think there could be a legitimate opposition there. At the same time, this article says the National Endowment of Democracy is funding some of these protests. NED is the legal window of the CIA.
