Upper middle class journalists, talking heads and strategists not only wrongly predicted the outcome of the elections but their explanations were shallow. Jack points out that the Democrats received 12 million less votes than in 2020.
Yet Trump only got about the same amount of votes as he did in 2020. So Democrats having lost 12 million votes did not mean Trump got those votes.
