This is a wonderful discussion between Michael Hudson and Richard Wolff about the consequences of Trump’s edicts on tariffs. Michael points out that Trump’s edicts have no staying power. Most of them are do not stick.
It’s as if he is using other countries to figure out what the foreign policy is. What the Orange Lobster fails to understand is that both small businesses in the US and China are cutting their own deals with the Chinese state. Far from other countries “begging to make deals” with Mordor, they are making deals with each other.
