Beginning workers at Boeing make the minimum wage in Everett WA which is $19 an hour, hardly much for skilled work.
Workers are also facing declining 401K retirement packages and mandatory overtime. The contract for 31,000 workers will be ending on September 12th. Meantime, workers have been serenading management with air horns, train horns, 90’s rap and death metal during their lunch breaks. There is every indicator of a strike. Their most recent strike lasted 58 days.
