Ibn Khaldun and His Anti-Financial Vision for the West

Michael Hudson acquaints us with the vision of Ibn Khaldun, which includes the necessity of being political animals (like Aristotle), mutual aid (like Kropotkin), and the importance of forgiving debt. Michael describes the behavior of financial elites today as resembling those of Khaldun’s description of decadent dynasties. He argues that the mechanisms for the fall of Rome are very similar to those of today.
