In the best of all possible socialist worlds, the social democrats would support the movement towards multi-polarization because it was led by an aspiring communist country (China). But social democrats in Germany, as well as social democratic parties throughout the world follow the capitalist powers and support military intervention and aid to Ukraine. It is hard to believe that the SPD was once a great Marxist party and that the German Greens were pacifists.
