Nice overview of just some of the geopolitical events of 2017. We would have added:
- the advance of China and Russia in building infrastructures and harnessing energy as a way to build international alliances;
- the movement away from the use of the dollar in Russia, China and Iran;
- the cooling of relations between Germany and the United States;
- the Catalan rebellion against the Spanish government.
