Financial Cooperatives – Place for Socialists to Put Our Money

As a college instructor I have long struggled with where to put my hard earned savings. I don’t want to invest in capitalism, but what do I do? While I find nothing wrong with taking my money and hiding it under the mattress, that money sits idle.

Is it possible to invest in institutions that support the workers? An investment in the production of real goods and service?
