As might be expected, Western Mordor News never mentioned that there was any non-state opposition to the right-wing truckers’ convoy. But the reality is that counterprotestors obstructed the movements of trucks into central Ottawa. This began in many cities as early as February 5. Convoys were blocked by hundreds of people with barricades set up in the streets. There were also many instances of mutual aid. As could be expected, the police sided with the truckers but that did not stop the success of the mobilizations against the convoys.
