“If voting changed anything, it would be made illegal”. So says the great American anarchist, Emma Goldman. Liberals, of course, disagree, claiming faithfully every four years that if their candidate doesn’t win, our democracy will end. The problem for liberals, as this author points out, is that we have never had a democracy. Then the author rattles off reasons why Biden is not the “lesser of two evils”. What could have been added is how those who claim to be anarchists, those who claim the legacy of Emma Goldman, such as Noam Chomsky are leading the charge of lesser evilism.
