Max and Stacy point out in the first half of the show that capitalists think the trends toward social violence will continue into 2021. In fact, the capitalists relate to these trends as “business opportunities”. This includes investing in negative interest rates, although that would destroy bond markets. We are reminded of Lenin’s quip that the capitalists will sell you the rope you hang them with. In the second half of the show they evaluate the Yankee economy in 2020 and make projections for 2021.
