Yankeedom is nervously trying to keep Europe in its orbit. But what does it have to offer? Its energy sources in oil are not competitive with what Russian natural gas can offer. What else does the US offer in trade? Military weapons and stock options? The real issue is why the heads of European states haven’t taken the Russians up on their offer. It is very clear that the future of humanity lies with China, Russia, and Iran. If they are lucky China and Russia would accept Europe on the world economic periphery. If Europeans choose Yankeedom, they will sink into the bog along with Yankeedom.
