Social Democrats around the world often complain that there should be unity among socialists. They accuse Leninists and anarchists of being sectarian.
Today the neoliberal EU is in a financial crisis because they refuse to cross Mordor with its sanctions of Russia. What do these Scandinavian “social democracies” do? They support the rulers of the EU and their right-wing neoliberalism.

We appreciate the distinctions you are making. But in Yankeedom, Lord of the Rings was a big box-office success as a movie and many people know exactly what Mordor was. We are not purists and rhetorically it’s good timing to tie movies to politics. We would do the same thing with The Hunger Games.
